The 26th annual Great Lakes Relay will take place on July 14-16, 2017. You have come to expect new and exciting courses from the GLR Crew and this year we won't disappoint you. We will be running entirely in the Upper Peninsula. Day 1 will start in St. Ignace and finish at Tahquamenon Falls using rail trails and the North Country Trail. Day 2 will be a loop course starting at Tahquamenon Falls, running backs roads and parts of the NCT to Grand Marais where we will turn and return to Tahquamenon Falls via the NCT. Day 3 will be a shorter day using the NCT and rail trails and finish at the waterfront park in St. Ignace.
The race is run with the help of our friends at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the United State Forest Service.
Apparently there is a third trophy for the race that we just found out about.
