Congrats to all participants of the 2026 Great Lakes Relay! Losing Friday was a bummer but it looks like the teams made the most of it on Saturday and Sunday.
Congrats to Facemelters for winning the Mixed Division and Nondescript and Inoffensive for winning the Open Division. Both get to take home our traveling trophies and etch their name in GLR history.

Founded in 1992, the Great Lakes Relay was established to promote outdoor fitness and community engagement. Our mission is to provide an unforgettable relay running experience that fosters teamwork, challenges your physical limits, and showcases the natural beauty of Michigan’s outback. We value community, integrity, and sustainability, ensuring that our event is not only enjoyable for participants for supports local businesses and organizations. Proceeds help support the Michigan Special Olympics as well as local many organizations.
